History
The Red Queen is the criminal persona assumed by Rebecca Dane in the years following the tumultuous severing of her relationship with Miles Thompson. For her early history, see Rebecca Dane.
As the Red Queen, she has pursued numerous schemes all over the globe, including taking work as an assassin. In this latter occupation, she is sometimes known as Elizabeth Bathory, due to the particularly grisly nature of her kills.
She harbors an intense hatred of Miles Thompson, yet thus far all her attempts to kill him have been unsuccessful. For his part, Thompson remains unaware of these attempts and of her true identity.
Notable Exploits
- Kidnapped the Prince of Wales (Edward, Duke of Cornwall) in 1932. Although the British government insists no ransom was ever paid, His Royal Highness was returned unharmed and rumors persist that a considerable fortune was passed to the Red Queen to secure his life.
